eoStar® System
eoStar® is a modern route accounting software (RAS) package that integrates mobile devices (for sales people, drivers and warehouse personnel) and a back-office system.
It is a Microsoft Windows based system developed with .NET and SQL Server for maximum flexibility, and provides management information for Route distribution businesses (businesses that purchase from manufacturers and sell to retailers) with specialized support for Beer distributors and Wine distributors, while maintaining full support for many industries. It manages all warehouse, back-office, and route management functions, while providing detailed reports and integration with a variety of accounting systems.
Additionally, there are many interfaces to other organizations, software packages and trading partners are provided to allow comprehensive exporting and importing of data (such as invoices, payments, purchases, tax records, etc.).
eoStar Mobile
The mobile software comes in two major categories
Rutherford licenses the mobile products under our Flexi-License program. What this means is that once you are licensed for a mobile user, that user can use either variant of the mobile products (Tablet or PocketPC). Additionally, that mobile license can migrate between the platforms. Meaning that you can deploy PocketPC devices and Tablet devices where appropriate, and then change your mind without needing to re-license the eoStar Mobile software. It's the same license whether you deploy to a pre-seller, large chain pre-seller, driver or warehouse employee.
Rutherford also offers a complete suite of mobile and integration solutions to compliment the eoStar application.
Both the Tablet and PocketPC software offers the following functions
- PreSell - full-featured wireless mobile presales application
- Survey - a robust merchandising and customer-site survey application
The PocketPC software adds these capabilities
- Delivery - Provides wireless mobile delivery (Off-Truck and Presold delivery)
- Warehouse - Manages all your inventory and warehouse functions.
- Mobile invoice printing - Capable of printing on-location high-quality thermal as well as multi-part forms
